Surprisingly disappointed

I have a 8 x 8 tent, which from Eureka (view mountain label) for about 8 years owned and it is an excellent tent.I have a 7 x 8 tent of Kelty, which also made and excellent Zelt.Ich take great care of my tents and. I bought this tent with great excitement for two reasons: it was designed more like my Kelty tent, the I love, and because it had the Eureka name considered a big name in tents.
After unboxing the tent, I set up there in no time at all. This tent is very easy, just like my Kelty. After getting it set up and take a closer look at the seams, etc., I discovered that it was about 2 inches of missing stitches along one of the seams. I took this as only a mass production errors and I it sewn.I really wanted this tent to halten.Am next day, I started for the surface of the a bit more tent fabric and a few small holes, the obviously original holes (smooth edges) were discovered. At this point, I was always skeptical if you can get this tent really better than was cheap tents at Walmart. I have tried these deficiencies Becaust at this point to ignore I wanted to really have this tent because of it's keeping simple installation and it is great ventilation.
Next week I have this tent adventure in Northern Ontario on our annual Canadian, interior kayak camping uses it set up easily, it has become well in the rain, but not great, and everything went pretty well with it for 3 nights. At this point I had planned on it to halten.Dann, he returned home, I unpacked it more thoroughly dry it, and I noticed that an of the metal fittings of end one had fallen off the fly rods. I was so disappointed when I knew that I could justify keeping this tent.
It is my opinion based on a set of tents, examination, that sind.Aus crooked weak seams with inferior fabric to the terrible mounted rods I saw no reason to double this tent, much as I would like to say otherwise is not better in quality than those half of the price of Wal-Mart or similar business to pay as much as a similar tent.
Eureka quality has dropped dramatically over the years, or you have expensive built their less some inferior company tents, Eureka named to sell.One thing is absolute, this tent was not near the quality of the I bought years ago for about the same price, not even close.I suspect that if I kept it over 2 years regular camping would have taken this tent nicht.Ich returned.
I would give it 3 stars have because that is what is Zelt.jedoch because it twice as much as the same size tent with average of Wal-Mart costs mean, and I had 1 star abziehen.Wenn average tent that performs just as well as this, you can get to the half Preis.Wenn you want a high quality tent for more money, look wish elsewhere.Ich I might recommend this tent, but I can't.
